Join us for a unique cross-city dialogue between Women Walk at Midnight (WWAM) chapters in Delhi, Bangalore, Faridabad, Guwahati, and Cape Town. This is a conversation between ongoing, paused and trying to become chapters of the practice, happening over varying lengths of time, frequencies and with vastly different strength of groups that gather to walk. Women leading the chapters in different cities will reflect on the joys and challenges of starting and sustaining city chapters and what walking in their cities means to them, women and their cities.

Mallika Taneja, a Delhi-based artist, founded the initiative "We Walk at Midnight" in Delhi in 2018. Ever since, the initiatve encourages women approximately once a month to reclaim the streets of Delhi. It was this initiative which inspired Amrita to start the same in Cape Town.

They also have a blog with interesting insights to their experiences which you should definetly check out following the link.
